Chemistry Summer School

The Summer School will be an opportunity for you to extend your understanding and knowledge of chemistry in a way which we believe will be both useful for your further studies as well as giving you a sense of what the study of chemistry would be like at degree level. There will be a mixture of classroom based activities and practical work. The experiments you will do in the laboratory will cover organic synthesis, analysis and physical measurements. You will learn some new practical techniques as well as gaining experience of analysing data.
