Undergraduate Study

Biological Sciences: Zoology, Plant Sciences and Neuroscience Strand Summer School will introduce you to the multidisciplinary nature of Biological Science at university. In the mornings you will receive lectures on evolution, biodiversity, perception, genetics, molecular biology and physiology. In the afternoons we will visit museums and laboratories around Cambridge where you can get involved in hands-on activities including dissections and biological surveys. A key focus of the course will be to develop your biological thinking skills, and to aid in this you will participate in small group supervisions, problem-solving sessions, and a biological "escape room" activity!

The course will be of interest to anyone wishing to study a variety of scientific subjects at university, including Zoology, Botany, Psychology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Neurobiology, Ecology or Physiology. However, there is minimal content relating to Medicine and Biochemistry.
