Undergraduate Study

The Veterinary Medicine Summer School gives you a flavour of what it's like to study to become a vet at university. The week-long programme introduces you to the cutting-edge science taking place at Cambridge University, guides you around the clinics at the Vet School and shows you the running of the University Farm. You even get do so some dissection! You will also receive small-group teaching on a focused biological topic, so you can present some research to other attendees and staff. In addition, we will provide guidance about how to make a competitive application to vet school. The Summer School is an exciting, immersive experience, which gives you an idea of how vet students spend their time – both working and playing. Many of our past attendees have told us how useful the Summer School was in helping them plan their university careers.
