Earth Sciences Taster Day
For children in care in school years 7-11

If you answered yes to ANY of the questions above then this FREE event during the Easter holidays is for you!
The programme includes an interactive session about volcanoes and a visit to the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, along with a tour of a Cambridge College with current students and a session introducing participants to Higher Education. This event is for children in care of all abilities in Years 7-11, who are enthusiastic about education or interested in Earth Sciences. The day offers an insight into a new subject area and into university.
Attendees are welcome to bring a foster carer/social worker/teacher with them and a foster sibling/friend if they wish. The travel for all participants is funded by the University of Cambridge. Once you have booked you will be contacted with further information.
Bookings will close on Tuesday 28 March 2017 or earlier if capacity is reached.
