Christ's-Trinity Women in Maths Programme

This free programme is for young women interested in pursuing Mathematics and other highly mathematical subjects at a top university. 

During your stay, you will have the opportunity to explore both Christ's and Trinity Colleges, experience taster lectures led by our academics, and meet current students from across Maths and other subjects at our colleges, as well as admissions staff. You will gain an insight into what it is like to live and study at Cambridge, the academic challenge involved and social activities to help you meet others on the programme. 

The programme runs from Thursday 26 March to Saturday 28 March 2026. All costs including meals, accommodation, activities and travel are covered, and those who will be travelling from the furthest distances will be offered an additional night of accommodation on Wednesday 25 March.

Eligibility Criteria:

We can only consider applications from those who meet all of the following:

1. You are a woman studying at a UK state school (i.e. the school doesn’t charge fees).
2. You’re currently in Year 12 in England/Wales, Year 13 if you’re in Northern Ireland or S5 in Scotland
3. You’ll be 16 or over on 26 March 2026
4. You can attend the full programme if selected (you may need to miss some days of school)
5. You’re studying toward one of the following qualifications:
   1. A-Levels: both Maths AND Further Maths to full A-Level
      1. Core Maths, AS Further Maths or solely Maths A-Level are not sufficient.
      2. If you’re self-studying Further Maths, this is fine – please indicate this on your application. You should still be intending to sit the exams.
   2. International Baccalaureate: Higher Level Mathematics Analysis and Approaches
   3. Highers and intended Advanced Highers (Scotland): Mathematics
