Magdalene Subject Taster Webinar - Maths

Magdalene College are hosting a series of Subject Taster sessions over Zoom in January-March 2026. This webinar will be a taster lecture for the Maths course.

The webinars are intended for Year 11 and Year 12 students, who are attending state-maintained schools in the UK or Isle of Man. Students from other year groups are welcome to attend, however please be aware that the academic content is designed for students in Years 11 and 12.

Dependent on subject, you may be provided with some independent work to review before the webinar. We will email this to you if this is the case. The first 45minutes of the webinar will be led by an academic and will reflect the style of teaching at university (a lecture). Following this, there will be small group discussions about the lecture, as well as opportunities to ask questions about the course at Cambridge.
