Undergraduate Study

A session explaining how student finance works in the UK, what you might be entitled to, and additional support you may be eligible for at Cambridge.

Aimed at Home fee status (UK) students in Year 12 England/Wales, Year 13 Northern Ireland, S5 Scotland, plus parents, carers and other supporters. Those in the school years above and below these, and teachers, are also welcome if they feel it would be beneficial.

This is one of our Regular Webinars series, so if the next date does not suit you, please keep an eye for future dates as it will be the same session again.

We understand that funding university can cause stress and concern for young people and their supporters, but it needn't do so! This session will explain how student finance works in the UK including how much you might expect to receive, how it's paid to you and how it's paid back. We'll also talk about what kinds of costs you might expect in going to university, as well as possible sources of funding beyond student finance loans/grants, and an overview of the support you could receive if you study at Cambridge.

We hope that at the end of the session, you will feel more informed and able to take your next steps in research for applying to university!
