What is the Cambridge Foundation Year?

The Cambridge Foundation Year is a free and fully-funded programme offering study in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences and is intended to provide a stepping stone to Cambridge for students who have been prevented from realising their potential due to educational disadvantage or disruption.​

It is only available as a full-time, one-year residential programme, and it is only open to those ordinarily resident in the UK. Join us in this webinar to find out more.

Think Cambridge is a series of webinars aimed at inspiring year 10, 11 and 12, international and mature students to think about applying to Cambridge. This is the first port of call for students, parents and supporters who are thinking about Cambridge but don’t know a lot about us yet. 

Please note that these webinars provide an introductory overview of Cambridge and are not designed for those who are confident in their knowledge about Cambridge and have already been to many of our events.  

What to expect:   

• An introduction to various aspects of applying, studying and life at Cambridge 

• Anecdotes and stories from current students in every webinar 

• Lecturers and Admissions Tutors presenters in most sessions 

• Advice and extra resources to help you find out more and continue your journey towards study at Cambridge.
