The Women in Computer Science seminars are a series of weekly webinars held on Tuesday evenings, 5:00 - 6:00 pm, from 20 January - 24 February 2026 for students in Year 12 (S5 in Scotland/Year 13 in Northern Ireland).

These sessions are open to all prospective students interested in exploring different topics in Computer Science. No previous experience in the subject is required, and they are also ideal for anyone with a passion for Mathematics.

Led by female and non-binary members of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, each seminar focuses on a unique topic chosen by the presenter, from Graphics to Computational Complexity.

Students who demonstrate active engagement in the seminar series are able to apply for the Women in Computer Science programme in February 2026.
