Undergraduate Study

The University of Cambridge is pleased to announce that it is hosting a Teachers’ Workshop in September 2015, to be held in a central Cambridge location.

This free one-day event is designed for teachers and advisers who directly support and advise sixth-form students applying to the University of Cambridge. It will provide you with the most up-to-date information on our application, selection and interview procedures.

The event programme will include opportunities to:

  • discuss the University’s position on assessing applicants following reforms to AS and A Level qualifications
  • share best practice on supporting applicants through interactive workshops
  • learn more about how to support highly-able students to take advantage of subject enrichment opportunities beyond their curriculum.

To apply for a place, please complete this short application form.

All delegates will be notified within three weeks if their application has been successful, and they have been allocated a place at the event.  We expect there to be high demand for this event and therefore applications are limited to one place per school/college.

Applications will close on 22 May 2015, or earlier if the event reaches capacity.

Previous delegates at our teachers’ events have said:

“A very useful forum to get up-to-date information and to discuss how other colleges and schools are dealing with the changes.”

“The informal chats with sixth form colleagues are as enlightening as the formal lectures”

This is a one-day event but if you are unable to travel on the morning of 29 September, we may be able to help with accommodation. Please contact us via: teachers-conference@cao.cam.ac.uk.
