The 2027 International Counsellor Fly-In will take place 18-19 March 2027. To register your interest in attending, please complete the form below.
Please note: This is an expression of interest only and does not guarantee you a place on the 2027 fly-in. As we can only offer a limited number of spaces each year, registrations will be reviewed by the International Team and successful applicants will be notified by January 2027.
We will be running a virtual version of the conference after the in-person fly-in in 2027. Further information, including how to register, will be available on this page when the in-person fly-in concludes.
Is this event in-person or online?
The International Counsellor Fly-in takes place in-person in Cambridge and consists of conference sessions as well as tours and other activities. We host a virtual version of the conference sessions later in the year for those unable to travel to Cambridge.
Who is this event for?
The event is for schools-based guidance counsellors working in international school settings across all regions.
We are happy to receive applications from independent counsellors to join our online conference. We may ask to see evidence of professional accreditation as part of our application process.
We are unable to accept applications from individuals representing any other organisations.
How many places are available?
We have 60 places available to attend the in person fly-in. We will give priority to schools who have not previously attended a conference.
If we can't offer you a place in person, we will offer you a place to attend online.
I want to come in person. Can I bring a second colleague?
We're only able to provide one place per school to attend in person. We are able to offer additional places to attend online.
Can I attend both online and in person?
Yes, if you are offered a place on the fly-in, you may still attend the virtual conference. If you are unsuccessful in securing a place on the fly-in, you will be invited to join the virtual conference.
Is there a cost to attend?
There is no fee to attend the conference.
If you're attending in person, you will need to cover the cost of your travel and your accommodation during the conference. We strongly encourage you to speak with your school before you apply to ensure that there are funds available to cover your attendance. We will only be able to confirm your place once your school has confirmed it can fund your travel and accommodation or you have confirmed that you are able to self-fund these expenses.
We understand that it may not be financially viable for all schools to send delegates in person. We're committed to providing an online version of the conference which is accessible to all, and free of charge. As such, we're unable to offer financial assistance to attend in person.
Will the virtual conference sessions be recorded?
We will record all virtual sessions, giving all registered attendees the flexibility to engage with the content at their convenience.
