The University of Cambridge hosts an annual event – The Cambridge Choral Experience – for students from non-fee-paying secondary schools who are interested finding out more about what it means to sing in a collegiate choir at the University.

The days offer a unique insight into the Cambridge choral system, an opportunity to sing with current Cambridge choral scholars, and mentoring from world-renowned choral directors, Ralph Allwood MBE (Queens’ College) and Sarah MacDonald (Selwyn College).

The 2017 open days will run from 9.00am to 5.00pm on Saturday 24 June (for students in Years 7-10) and Sunday 25 June (for students in Years 11-13) at St John’s College.

Online applications for the Cambridge Choral Experience will be accepted from Monday 24 April until Friday 9 June. Participants will be sent details at least one week in advance of the event, following their acceptance. There's no cost for participants beyond the cost of travel to Cambridge. See 'related documents' for more details.
