An in-person programme open to all but aimed at those in Years 12 and 13 who are interested in languages and literature.
Hosted by Murray Edward College, the Murray Edwards Sixth Form Lecture Series will dive into English Literature, French, Spanish, Classics and many more literature and language-based subjects by exploring many commonly studied A Level texts and topics in new and interesting ways.
Join us at the College from 17:30 for refreshments and informal conversations with current students. The lectures themselves will begin at 18:00 and will be an hour in duration.

The Handmaid’s Tale with Dr Michele Gemelos
This lecture will be delivered by one of Murray Edwards College’s Fellows in English, Dr Michele Gemelos. Dr Gemelos is interested in American literature (19th century to present); transatlantic literary and cultural relations; and immigration, race, ethnicity and New York City.
