Hughes Hall has this warm, inspiring and progressive atmosphere that is so refreshing and welcome at Cambridge. I’ve found a ready-made mature community from all over the world, where everyone has different stories and life experiences to share. Being part of such a close-knit supportive College is like finding a home-away-from-home, and I'm definitely happy to be at Hughes.
Veronica
Hughes Hall was founded in 1885 and is known today as a vibrant, international, and friendly academic community of around 200 undergraduates, all over 21, and more than 700 postgraduates.
We welcome students from diverse backgrounds and a multitude of disciplines, whether studying for the first time, returning to education after a successful career or a subject change, or undertaking graduate level research.
Hughes students join leading researchers, make lifelong friends, and support one another to make a difference through a culture of academic excellence and social and sporting opportunity.
