Undergraduate Study

Being at St John’s has shaped my entire Cambridge experience – applying is the best decision I could have made. I wanted to be part of a College with a large cohort of students to share ideas and study with, and I wanted somewhere sociable that looks beautiful but still feels like home. Because St John’s is big, it’s easy to find your people.

Libby

St John’s values curiosity, academic potential and determination. If you are one of the most able and committed students in your cohort, with a genuine interest in your subject, you’ll fit right in.

We are one of Cambridge’s largest and most beautiful colleges. We admit around 170 undergraduates each year, from all sorts of backgrounds in the UK and around the world, for every subject offered at Cambridge.

St John’s is a community of people who think deeply and contribute to society. For 500 years our students, academics, and alumni have been at the forefront of learning and research, public life, and innovation.
