Undergraduate Study

Trinity Hall Cambridge

Trinity Hall is the loveliest sanctuary in the busy city and from busy life at the University. I can't imagine a better place to call home.

Izzy

Trinity Hall is an ancient College with a modern outlook. Founded in 1350, our thriving community helps students develop both intellectually and personally. We encourage applications from academically motivated students from all social and educational backgrounds.

Accommodation

Trinity Hall offers the best of the old and the new. Our central site on the River Cam hosts rooms in evocative historical buildings, while our nearby modern accommodation blocks provide spacious ensuite facilities and large communal kitchens in the centre of town.

Every undergraduate at Trinity Hall has a room in College for the duration of their course.

Facilities

Located in a quiet corner of the city centre our central site features an undergraduate library with 24-hour access and breath-taking views of the river. Here you’ll find the popular Aula Bar and Coffee Shop, which offers a cosy setting to study and catch up with friends. Our highly rated lunches and dinners are served in our beautiful dining hall.

Our newly built WongAvery Music gallery is an exquisite music practice and performance space.

All undergraduates have access to:

  • a free gym
  • squash courts
  • tennis courts
  • playing fields
  • a boathouse
  • 2 well-equipped music rooms

Location and student life

Our central site is a short walk from most lecture halls, laboratories, libraries, cafés and shops, ideally situated for student life in Cambridge.

Our second site at Wychfield features expansive gardens, playing fields and easy access to University buildings in West Cambridge. Although our students prioritise their academic work, they also contribute to College life through a range of clubs, teams and societies.

The welfare of our students is particularly important to us and we provide extensive pastoral advice and support via our Wellbeing Team and Tutors.
