Please note:
The University of Cambridge is spread across lots of buildings in the city - there are 29 undergraduate Colleges alone!
There’s plenty to explore, so we recommend you plan to visit 6 to 10 places during the day.
All Colleges are open for tours, with many offering other sessions too.

Where possible, walking is often the quickest and easiest way to travel between venues.
You can access Google Maps via our guest wifi ("UniOfCam-Guest") or download the Open Days maps to help find your way around the city and open day sites.

Buses
The Universal "U" bus service makes it easy to get around the city and provides a convenient link between many of our departments and Colleges:
You can find a wide range of cafés and restaurants throughout the city, where you can stop for a drink and a bite to eat. There are also University-owned cafés and catering vans on site, which will be open for visitors during the Open Days. Their opening times are listed below:

If you need a space for quiet reflection and prayer we will have a Prayer Room available for Open Day attendees to use in the Student Services Centre from 9:00 - 17:00. Please speak to staff at the Reception for directions.
Please note that most Colleges have a Chapel which you may also be permitted to use during the Open Day. Please speak to College/Chapel staff for more details.
