Fitzwilliam College and Cambridge University Tamil Society will be running an Access Conference on the 11th of February 2023 for UK-domiciled Tamil state school students who are currently in Year 12 (England and Wales), Year 13 (Northern Ireland) and S5 (Scotland). This programme has been designed to explain the Cambridge application process, offer subject-specific taster sessions, and provide an insight into life at Cambridge from current students.
The programme will take place in-person from 10am to 4pm at Fitzwilliam College and will include:
- A talk from the admissions team about Cambridge University
- Subject Taster carousel session
- Application advice from current students
- Tour of Fitzwilliam College
- Student Q+A panel
- Brunch (provided free of charge in the dining hall)
Applications for this event are now open via this online form and will close on 10th of January 2023 at 12pm. In the event of oversubscription, places will be prioritised for students who meet widening participation criteria.
