Magdalene College are hosting online Subject Taster webinars throughout January-March. These sessions will be led by Magdalene College Fellows, covering a variety of subjects offered by the University of Cambridge, including Medicine, Mathematics, Geography and more!
There will be two online sessions for every subject; the first in the style of a lecture, and the second will be more interactive, similar to a Cambridge supervision. We encourage students to attend both sessions, to experience degree-level teaching, and to ask questions or engage in academic discussion. This will also serve as useful interview prep for those thinking about applying to the University of Cambridge.
All sessions will take place on Zoom on weekday evenings. Due to the interactive nature of these sessions, they will not be recorded. Therefore we urge you to sign-up and set a reminder for the date. Current subjects and dates are as follows:
- Computer Science - 15th & 22nd Jan 17:00
- History - 29th Jan & 7th Feb 17:00
- Philosophy - 3rd & 10th Feb 17:00
- Medicine - 5th & 19th Feb 17:00
- Geography - 6th & 20th Feb 17:00
- Psychological and Behavioural Sciences - 18th Feb only 19:00
- Languages - 26th Feb & 7th March 17:00
- Education - 5th March only at 17:00
- Law - 6th and 13 March at 16:40 and 17:00 respectively
- Mathematics - 10th & 17th March 17:00
