Undergraduate Study

The Christ's Medicine Taster Day is an annual event giving you an opportunity to explore what it is like to study Medicine at Christ's and Cambridge, including talks, Q&As and sample academic sessions from our Medicine academics and current students at Christ's.

The event takes place on Wednesday 21 January 2026 with places available both in person and online - you do not need to travel to Cambridge in order to attend!  Please see full event details including an outline of the day, as well as to make an application here.

We are still taking applications, on a rolling basis for online places only at this stage. The final deadline for places will be 9am on 14th January, with all applications received up to this stage receiving a response by the evening of 16th January.

In person vs Online

You can indicate if you would prefer an in-person or online place. Everyone who meets the core eligibility criteria above will receive an online place. In-person places will be prioritised for those who meet additional priority criteria outlined in How to Apply on this page. In either case, you may need to miss a day of school to attend. Attendance is live only - no recordings are provided.

Sessions are streamed online via Zoom. Online attendees are able to ask questions and join in polls and discussion alongside the in-person attendees. You will not need a camera or microphone to participate.

Students who are in local authority care, or eligible for government-funded free school meals are eligible to financial support with travel costs to Cambridge if they wish to attend in person.
