St John's College - Mathematics Public Lecture

We are holding a public lecture to celebrate the Adams Society centenary on Saturday 18th February 2023. This event is generously supported by the St John's College Annual Fund, and organised as part of the centenary celebrations for the Adams Society, the College's mathematical society. The event will be held in St John's College from 4pm to 5.15pm, with refreshments following the lecture.

The lecture, "Climate, Chaos, and Covid: how mathematical models describe the universe", will be delivered by Prof. Chris Budd, University of Bath.

There are places available at this event for current school students in Year 12-13 (England/Wales) or equivalent (Years 13-14 Northern Ireland / S5-S6 Scotland) together with 1 parent/supporter.
