Undergraduate Study
Computer Science is about creating the future. We are an interdisciplinary subject that embraces a wide variety of other fields, from Psychology and Linguistics to Maths and Electronics. We study and develop the science and technology of modern computing and set our students up to be at the forefront of future innovations. In the Computer Science Summer School we aim to expose students to this range of topics within the subject. Practical problem solving is interspersed with detailed lectures on specific areas and more general lectures from experts within each field, giving students an overview of the discipline. We also give students experience of the Cambridge system first hand with group challenges followed by a supervision on the same material. Although this is a hands-on school, no prior knowledge of Computer Science or programming is required.
