Y12 Muslim women are invited to Newnham College for the Akhawaat Access event.
From 11am to 4pm, attendees will attend talks hosted by members of the Akhawaat society about life as a Muslim woman in Cambridge. They will also tour the college and chat with Admissions staff about applications to competitive universities like Cambridge. Current students and alumnae will host a Q&A to help de-mystify Cambridge and shed light on student life.
Lunch will be provided, as well as travel cost reimbursement for those currently eligible for Free School Meals. Applications are open to Muslim women in Y12 from any school type in the UK.
