  • 89% of our students who responded to the Graduate Outcomes Survey were in work or further study within 15 months of graduating.
  • Top 3 in the UK for graduate prospects (Complete University Guide 2025)
  • 91% of our working graduates are in high-skilled employment (Graduate Outcomes Survey).

The Graduate Outcomes Survey records the outcomes of students who completed their studies between August 2021 and July 2022. 45% of graduates responded to the survey.

How we can support your career

Careers guidance

You can work with our Careers Service from the start of your degree to explore your career options.

Our team of experienced and impartial careers advisers can help you connect with employers.

The Careers Service run the following events to help you:

  • skills sessions
  • 200 careers events each year
  • around 15 major careers fairs each year

Internships and work experience

Our industry connections provide opportunities for you to get work experience. This can enhance your CV ready for graduation.

Thousands of opportunities are advertised through the Careers Service's Handshake website.

Bursaries are offered to support unpaid opportunities with charities.

Network with alumni

The Careers Service's networking platform, Handshake, is available to all Cambridge students. You can use this to explore career options, connect with employers and enhance your network.
