  1. The application fee payment is subject to a 14-day cancellation period, during which you may receive a full refund.
  2. The refund is not automatic on withdrawal of your application, and in order to be eligible you must notify the Cambridge Admissions Office in writing as per the instructions below.
  3. You have the right to cancel your application without giving any reason if the cancellation request is made within 14 days (the "Cancellation Period") of the date of the payment acknowledgement email sent to you.
  4. To exercise your cancellation right, you need to inform the University within the 14 days that you wish to cancel. The easiest way is to email the University at appfees@admin.cam.ac.uk. You should mark any communication cancelling your application (whether email or otherwise) “Refunds and Cancellations”.
  5. You may use the File cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.
  6. The University will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after the day the University received cancellation confirmation from you.
  7. The University will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event you will not incur any fees as the result of the reimbursement.
  8. After the 14-day cancellation period your application fee cannot be refunded even if your application is withdrawn or is unsuccessful.
