Cancelling your application
You can cancel your application without giving a reason if you inform the University within the cancellation period.
The cancellation period is 14 days from the date on the payment acknowledgement email sent to you. The University will not refund your application fee after the 14 day cancellation period, even if your application is withdrawn or unsuccessful.
Requesting a refund
To cancel your application and receive a refund, email applicationhelp@ug.admin.cam.ac.uk. Please put ‘Refunds and Cancellations’ in the subject line.
Alternatively, you can 
use the cancellation form, if you prefer.
You do not need to provide a reason for requesting a refund.
Receiving the refund
The University will refund the application fee as soon as possible and within 14 days after receiving your cancellation.
You’ll receive the refund in the same way you made the payment. For example, if you paid by card, the refund will go back to that card, unless you have made a different agreement with the University.
You will not have to pay any fees to receive the refund.
