Homerton College Subject Focus Sessions are open to all prospective undergraduate students.
Each Subject Focus session will involve an introduction to Cambridge University and Homerton College from a member of our Admissions Team, followed by a taster session to give you an insight into the subject. To conclude, there will be a Q&A with current Homerton students studying the subject. Please click 'Apply Online' to register on Zoom.
This event is for students who are interested in studying Islam. We will start with a guided tour of Cambridge Central Mosque with Dr Timothy Winter. At the Faculty of Divinity, students will have sessions with Cambridge academics and have the opportunity to explore undergraduate study at the Cambridge Faculty of Divinity. There is no registration fee, but participants will need to bring a lunch and arrange transport between the Mosque and Faculty.
This event is for students who are interested in studying Ancient, Medieval, or Modern Judaism. We will start with a visit to the Beth Shalom Reform Synagogue, which includes an opportunity to view one of their Torah Scrolls. At the Faculty of Divinity, students will have sessions with Prof Daniel Weiss and Dr Arjen Bakker, as well as an opportunity to explore undergraduate study at the Cambridge Faculty of Divinity. There is no registration fee, but participants will need to bring a lunch and arrange transport between the Synagogue and Faculty.
