The webinar is pitched for students considering an application this year, for Oct 2026 entry, deferred Oct 2027 entry or even for Oct 2028 entry if you have 2 years of National Service!

Applicant Webinar Series 2025: Personal Statements

Our Applicant Webinar Series runs from June to December 2025. It guides Cambridge applicants, their advisers and supporters through every step of the application process. This webinar will specifically focus on the process of writing a personal statement. 

Each webinar includes a Q&A so you can ask questions and have any concerns addressed. All sessions are free to attend. They are run by Cambridge admissions staff and Admissions Tutors, and often feature contributions and guidance from current Cambridge students.

In these sessions, you will be guided through subject-specific material by an academic mentor; each session has been designed to help you develop skills which we hope will help you in making a competitive Cambridge application.

Akhawaat Access Conference for Y12 Muslim Women

Newnham College’s Akhawaat Society is holding an Access Conference for Muslim women in Y12 on August 12th. Designed for those interested in applying to Cambridge and other Russell Group universities, this event will include a workshop and Q&A run by Muslim students currently studying at Newnham. Participants will also attend an Admissions workshop and tour of Newnham. Lunch will be included, as well as the cost of travel for those eligible for Free School Meals.
