The series is also open to teachers, advisors, parents and supporters. It has lots of information to help them support applicants.

The ‘Exploring Legal Futures’ webinar series is hosted by the Faculty of Law and includes sessions on preparing competitive university applications to Law, advice for the different pathways into a legal career, and other professional routes students can go into with a Law degree.

This session will be a panel discussion with alumni speakers, each having studied Law at Cambridge and gone on to do non-law and unconventional careers. The session will demonstrate the transferrable skills of a Law degree.

This session will be a panel discussion made up of Cambridge alumni who are now practising either as solicitors or barristers. They will outline the differences between these two careers, explain the academic/professional requirements, and help you to decide which one is right for you.

In this session, we will discuss personal statements for Law: what they are, how to make them effective using super-curricular evidence, and the suggested timelines for planning and writing if you are applying to Cambridge or Oxford.

In this session, we will discuss the structure of the undergraduate Law course at Cambridge and the different steps of the university application process for Law, providing advice and guidance for each one. The webinar will finish with a Q and A featuring current Cambridge students.
