Applicant Webinar Series: Applying to Cambridge - an overview
Our Applicant Webinar Series will run from June to December 2025. It guides Cambridge applicants, their advisers and supporters through every step of the application process.
The series will cover specific stages of the application process. Each webinar includes a Q&A so you can ask questions and have any concerns addressed.
Some sessions are general. Other sessions are for students applying to specific courses or under specific circumstances.
All sessions are free to attend. They are run by Cambridge admissions staff and Admissions Tutors.
As part of Magdalene College's webinar series, our Schools Liaison Officer is leading a webinar about Personal Statements. She will explain the new Personal Statement format for 2026, and how to approach the questions. She will give examples of how to use super-curricular and where to find these resources. Finally, the webinar will show some examples of successful personal statements, giving students tips on how to write theirs.
As part of Magdalene College's Webinar Series, our Schools Liaison Officer will talk prospective applicants through the entire application process. She will explain the UCAS system, Personal Statements, how to register for admissions tests, and how to fill in the My Cambridge Application. The webinar will include key deadlines for applications, and demystify the entire process.
A dedicated session offered by Christ's College for prospective undergraduate students outside the UK. Students who normally live outside the UK but attend sixth form in the UK are also welcome.
The session is pitched for students considering an application in September 2025. This September most people will apply for Oct 2026 entry, but you can instead apply for deferred Oct 2027 entry or even for Oct 2028 entry if you have 2 years of National Service!
