  • 91% of Cambridge graduates who responded to the Graduate Outcomes Survey were in work or further study within 15 months of graduating.
  • Top 3 in the UK for graduate prospects (Complete University Guide 2024)
  • More than a quarter of our graduates each year progress into further study or training (Graduate Outcomes Survey).

The Graduate Outcomes Survey records the outcomes of students who completed their studies between August 2020 and July 2021. 45% of graduates responded to the survey.

Careers guidance

You can work with our Careers Service from the start of your degree to explore your career options.

Our team of experienced and impartial careers advisers can help you connect with employers.

The Careers Service run the following events to help you.

  • Workshops on:
    • choosing a career
    • cover letters and applications
    • getting ready for job interviews
  • Skills sessions
  • 200 careers events and around 15 major careers fairs each year

Internships and work experience

Our industry connections provide opportunities for you to get work experience. This can enhance your CV ready for graduation.

There are thousands of opportunities from all sectors advertised through our Careers Service.

Bursaries are offered to support unpaid opportunities with charities.

Networking opportunities

We have a graduate database that will give you access to over 1,200 Cambridge graduate contacts.

Our graduates work in a huge range of industries and can offer first-hand advice.
