This Music Faculty Taster Day is aimed at Year 11 and Year 12 students from non-fee-paying schools and colleges who want to find out more about studying music at University.
Our Taster Days are designed to offer a taste of life as a Music student at the University of Cambridge. Participants will experience some of the teaching methods used by university academics and gain an insight into just some of the huge range of skills, approaches, and topics that the study of music at University encompasses. The aim is not only to expand students' knowledge and understanding of various aspects of music and musicology, but also to encourage them to develop their critical thinking skills, all in a friendly and supportive environment.
