Our Taster Days are designed to offer a taste of life as a Music student at the University of Cambridge. Participants will experience some of the teaching methods used by university academics and gain an insight into just some of the huge range of skills, approaches, and topics that the study of music at University encompasses. The aim is not only to expand students' knowledge and understanding of various aspects of music and musicology, but also to encourage them to develop their critical thinking skills, all in a friendly and supportive environment.
The event will include sample lectures, tours of the Faculty and a nearby college, and a talk and Q&A on Studying Music at Cambridge, with a panel of current staff and students.
