Virtual Davidson Inventors Challenge STEM competition Final and Awards Ceremony
The Davidson Inventors Challenge is an annual innovation competition for Year 11 and 12 students across schools in the UK. Our department (CEB) runs this in collaboration with The Association of Science, Technology and Innovation in Malaysia (ASTI), and The Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).

A Theology, Religion and Philosophy of Religion study day to enrich students' understanding of Islam as well as offering them the opportunity to visit Europe's first eco-mosque. Ideal for students studying Religious Studies or Philosophy, but open to any interested pupils.
Murray Edwards College Daisy Goodwin Flash Fiction Prize
Murray Edwards College is delighted to announce the Daisy Goodwin Flash Fiction Prize for young women. Judges are looking to reward intense, exciting, and original prose, inspired by the visual arts.
The Daisy Goodwin Flash Fiction Prize will draw upon one of the College’s greatest resources The Women’s Art Collection, the largest collection of art by women in Europe. Students are encouraged to write a maximum of 250 words about the famous Paula Rego painting, Ines de Castro.

Lunchtime webinar with our chemical engineering graduate Dr Rachel Cooke on careers in chemical engineering and biotechnology next Thursday 2 June, 1-2 pm.
Dr Cooke, Global Director, Reliability Maintenance Engineering at Amazon, will be sharing her experience and highlights of her exciting and rewarding career journey so far working across different industries in different countries around the globe. There will be a Q&A at the end and a great opportunity to ask her questions. She is a great role model to follow so do not miss her!
Robinson College Slaughter and May Law Residential
Robinson College is working with international law firm Slaughter and May to provide a two-day residential for Year 12 students considering applying for Law at university. The residential will entail an introduction to Law at university, workshops to practise the skills required of Cambridge Law students, as well as a chance to explore both the academic study of law and its practise.
The Faculty of English and the Faculty of Divinity are holding a joint online study evening on Tuesday 27th June 2023. The event is aimed at GCSE students with an interest in literature, gender, politics, theology, religion, and philosophy of religion - especially those who may be considering studying these subjects at university. If you are in Year 12 or 13 and feel you would benefit from attending, you are welcome to join us.
