This webinar provides an introduction to Cambridge, the collegiate system, and the Cambridge application process.

This includes information and guidance around admissions assessments, personal statements, and interviews, as well as an opportunity to get your questions answered.

This webinar will focus on supercurricular activities, the personal statement and how to use these to help make a competitive application. This will be the final session of the summer! 

We'll discuss what supercurricular activities are and how these and the personal statement fit into the admissions process, including what makes a strong personal statement. We'll also provide advice on where to look for ideas and further research after the webinar, and attendees will receive a follow-up email.

Homerton College will be welcoming potential students, confirmed students, and their families to tour our grounds and ask us questions. You can sign up for an hour-long tour, which will be hosted by undergraduate students.

You will be able to see the different parts of our college and get a feel for what it might be like to be a student with us.

Every month Sidney Sussex runs a free themed Q and A session for school students as well as parents/guardians and teachers. These will have a different theme every month, covering the different stages of the preparation and submission of a university application.

This session will not include a presentation but will be completely open to questions from the audience. You may also find it helpful to combine it with attending our webinar series.

Taster Day with a focus on the Slavonic Languages taught at Cambridge (Polish, Russian and Ukrainian) with overnight accommodation provided so participants can then attend the University Open Day the following morning.
