Calling all Slavonic-curious linguists, literary critics, cultural historians and political scientists!

Applications are open until 9 June for the Cambridge University Slavonic Studies Taster Day on Wednesday 3 July, followed by the Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics Open Day on Thursday 4 July 2024.

We're excited to offer this taster visit as a collaboration between the Cambridge University Slavonic Studies department, Christ’s College and Trinity College.

We will be focusing on the three Slavonic languages and cultures that are currently taught at Cambridge: Polish, Russian and Ukrainian. Do have a look if you are interested in Modern and Medieval Languages, History and Modern Languages, Classics or Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at Cambridge.

  • Wednesday 3 July: Nations and Cultures Academic Taster Day at Christ's College (application form)
  • Overnight: optional accommodation at Trinity College (request this on the Taster Day application form)
  • Thursday 4 July: Cambridge University Open Day (a separate booking required)
