Teaching/Gaming the Industrial Revolution is an all-day workshop for secondary-school History teachers, organised by the Faculty of History as part of a research project called Gaming the Industrial Revolution, and led by Dr Alexis Litvine (Cambridge) and Dr Juan Hiriart (Salford).

Teachers can view the project blog and download a prototype of the game at http://ireevolution.com.

The workshop will focus on current research in the field, practical demonstration of the video game and discussion surrounding the use of gaming as a teaching tool.

Lunch is included.

The event is free to attend and there are 15 bursaries of £200 per school to cover expenses, open to state schools outside of Cambridgeshire. Applications for the bursaries close on 3 March 2023.
