Undergraduate Study

A NEW webinar in Christ's Regular Webinar Series for 2025.

We understand that funding university can cause stress and concern for young people and their supporters, but it needn't do so! This session will explain how student finance works in the UK including how much you might expect to receive, how it's paid to you and how it's paid back. We'll also talk about what kinds of costs you might expect in going to university, as well as possible sources of funding beyond student finance loans/grants, and an overview of the support you could receive if you study at Cambridge.

We hope that at the end of the session, you will feel more informed and able to take your next steps in research for applying to university!

This session is relevant to UK students who would pay Home fees and would be taking out a student loan (so, most UK students!). Information will cover the loan systems in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

This session is aimed at students in sixth form, but younger students as well as parents, carers, other supporters and teachers of secondary aged students are also welcome to attend.
