Cambridge Choral Experience, 26 June 2021

Are you aged 11-18? Do you like to sing? Would you like to find out more about singing at Cambridge University?

The 2021 Cambridge Choral Experience will be held online this year on Saturday, 26 June 2021. There will be two sessions:

  • 10:00-13:00 for school years 7-10
  • 14:00-17:00 for school years 11-13

PLUS a special session for everyone (17:00-18:00) with internationally-renowned choral composer and conductor Eric Whitacre!

Each half-day will include singing sessions with renowned vocal coaches including Harry Bradford and Lucy Joy Morris, working on skills such as sight-reading, musicianship, and singing together; there will also be a Q&A session with current Choral Scholars, and Admissions Tutor Marcus Tomalin will be on hand to answer any questions on the admissions process.

Those in school years 11-13 will have a chance to experience a walk-through and explanation of a 'virtual Evensong', led by the renowned composer and Director of the Choir of Gonville & Caius College, Matthew Martin.
