Undergraduate Study
The Cambridge Choral Experience gives students and teachers the opportunity to discover what life as a choral scholar at the University of Cambridge involves.
It consists of two, one-day choral workshops, for state-maintained school students in Years 7–11 and 12–13, and takes place at the end of June.
Participants work with Cambridge choral scholars to prepare four pieces in a soprano, alto, tenor and bass (SATB) choir for a performance in a Cambridge chapel, at the end of the course.
In between rehearsals, participants tour Cambridge Colleges, have lunch in a College, and attend talks on singing technique, life as a choral scholar, and applying to Cambridge.
The event, including lunch and refreshments, is entirely free of charge.
To apply for this event, please complete the online application form, which will be available here in due course.
For further details, please contact Caille Sugarman-Banaszak, Administrator of the Cambridge Choral Experience (cps29@cam.ac.uk).
