Entry requirements

The typical offers for students taking the Irish Leaving Certificate and applying for arts subjects (except Economics), Psychological and Behavioural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine would be based on H1H1H1H2H2H2.

The typical offers for students taking the Irish Leaving Certificate and applying for other science subjects (excluding Psychological and Behavioural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine) and Economics would be based on H1H1H1H1H2H2.

Applicants for Medicine should note that a rounded knowledge of Mathematics and the Sciences at GCSE level equivalent is required for the BMAT. More information can be found on the Medicine course page.

Admissions Assessments

Please also refer to the information about admission assessments. If the course you’re applying for requires you to take a pre-interview written assessment, you must be registered in advance for the assessment. The assessment centre where you’ll take the assessment must register you (you can’t register yourself) by the relevant assessment registration deadline.
