The Robinson Access Programme (RAP) is an online scheme for Year 11 / S4 / Year 12 (Northern Ireland) and Year 12 / S5 / Year 13 (Northern Ireland)students, designed to help you think about university as an option for your future. The programme will consist of online sessions held every three weeks afterschool from March to August 2023. Year 11 sessions will introduce you to what university is, how it works, and what it's like to be a student, alongside content that will help you develop your study skills.
The Secret Subjects Taster Day aims to showcase Cambridge's slightly more 'niche' subjects to Year 12 students from maintained sector schools and colleges, who may not have considered them before. A collaboration between Corpus Christi, Sidney Sussex, and Trinity Hall, the virtual event will give participants the chance to explore these subjects through a taster lecture, meeting alumni, and a Q&A with current students. Fitzwilliam College is excited to be hosting a Q+A webinar for students interested in Computer Science, during which you will have the opportunity to hear from undergraduate and postgraduate students at Fitz in the field! This event is open to students who identify as female, non-binary, or another marginalised gender, and are in Years 11-12 (England and Wales), S4-S5 (Scotland), Years 12-13 (Northern Ireland) or equivalent overseas*. The Q+A will take place via Zoom 5pm to 6pm on Wednesday 29th of March 2023 and a recording will also be available afterwards.
Sidney Sussex Outreach is very excited to collaborate with our College’s Student Union (SSCSU) to deliver our BME Cambridge Taster Day on Sunday, the 19th of February 2023. This will be a brilliant opportunity for Year 12 BME students to get a taste of Cambridge life and learn more about living and studying as a BME student in the University. You can expect academic taster sessions, talks about the Oxbridge applications and opportunities to hear from and discuss with current BME students.
St Catharine's College Under-Represented Ethnicities Access Day
On Saturday 4 March 2023 St Catharine's is pleased to be a hosting an open day for students from ethnicities which are under-represented at Cambridge University. The day will include opportunities to meet current students, explore the college, and hear about the application process and life at university.
Applications open Monday 16 January and close Friday 13 February.

The St Catharine's College Outreach team are hosting a series of online Subject Masterclasses for UK state school students in Year 12 (or equivalent). These will be hosted by students studying at the College and will offer prospective students the opportunity to experience an interactive subject specific taster session, to learn more about their subject, and challenge their thinking. These will be hosted online over Zoom and will be free of charge.
