The Women in Science Festival (WiSF) is an annual event run by Robinson College designed to inspire and encourage female students to pursue scientific study at university, and to apply to Cambridge and to Robinson should they so wish.
Our Taster Days are designed to offer a taste of life as a Music student at the University of Cambridge. Participants will experience some of the teaching methods used by university academics and gain an insight into just some of the huge range of skills, approaches, and topics that the study of music at University encompasses. These free events are aimed at Year 12 students from non-fee-paying schools and colleges who want to find out more about studying music at University.

Every month Sidney Sussex runs a free themed Q and A session for school students as well as parents/guardians and teachers. These will have a different theme every month, covering the different stages of the preparation and submission of a university application.
This session will not include a presentation but will be completely open to questions from the audience. You may also find it helpful to combine it with attending our webinar series.

Submissions are now open for the Peterhouse Kelvin Science Essay Competition, which aims to give students the opportunity to explore scientific concepts and topics beyond the classroom, and to engage with scientific research.
The Kelvin Science Essay Competition is open to students in their penultimate year of study (Year 12 in England and Wales, S5 in Scotland, Year 13 in Northern Ireland, or equivalent) who are educated in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Submissions will close on Monday 24th April at 23:59 pm GMT.
