Undergraduate Study

The Faculty of Law will be holding an Open Day for potential undergraduate applicants on 5 July 2023. This will be a chance for those considering Law at Cambridge, including current Year 12 students or potential mature applicants, to find out more about the undergraduate degree.

At the Open Day, you will have the chance to meet Law lecturers, Directors of Studies, and current Law students. You will also be able to look around the Faculty, including the Squire Law Library, and explore the wider city of Cambridge.

The event will include:

  • An overview of the Law course at Cambridge
  • Sample academic sessions
  • Information on applying
  • Light refreshments in the Law Faculty

We welcome parents and guardians to attend the event. Please note that the programme of events is repeated in the morning and afternoon, so you only need to book a ticket for one of these sessions.

If you are also interested in attending the Cambridge University Open Days, which take place 6-7 July 2023, you should note that, while many students interested in Law choose to attend both, you will not miss out on any key information if you are only able to attend one. Both will include information on admissions, course structure, and sample Law material, although in different formats. If you choose to stay in Cambridge for both events, we recommend that you use your time at the University Open Days to learn more about wider University support and visit Cambridge colleges.
